STi 7 Steering wheel - nasty
Just supposing I return to the fold one day soon 
can the steering wheel from an STi7 easily be changed to an 8?
Its big and nasty enough to prevent me from going for one so just need to know

Yes it can, its a straight replacement.
Just be carefull with the airbag and horn boss, its the unit inside the wheel that swivels around allowing the wiring to move when you turn, there are instructions when you take the wheel off written on it on how to make sure it stays in the correct position.
If it does move you can damage it and your horn wont work and your airbag light will come on.
