STI 8 Seats in to STI 7 ?

Default STI 8 Seats in to STI 7 ?

Any body done this?, the fronts should go stright in but I'm wondering about the rears?, or are these the same size too?

Also how easy do the rears come out?, I've not had chance to have a good look...

should be identical, and they are alla doddle to remove....lower part comes out first (2 bolts in the footwell) and the rear secion is a futher 3 or 4 bolts...just pull the armrest down first.

Cheers for that, just been out and had a trial removal, 3 mins and its out, sweet! in with the 8 interior tomorrow then...

i think the side bolstering on a sti7 is tighter than sti8 or was to me when i tried to fit in

Tip

Take the rears out first and when taking out the fronts lay them down a bit and take them out of the rear doors. BEWARE..there is a sticky out bit of metal under the front seat that will make a lovely scratch along the rear wing !! if poss get a mate to help out

Thanks for the tip, dont want another scratch, recent Tesco ding/scratch from a stray trolly!, I'm sure folk do it on purpose

Nice one, do you have to change the runners over on for the fronts to fit a classic?
