From a cossie to a evo to M3 whats next ?
Over the last 10 years I have moved from modified Cossies , to Evo 6 then Evo 8 Fq and now driving a BMW M3 Smg. The M3 as much as its a lovely car I miss a turbo so want to move back to one but my pref would really be a Evo Fq340.I did 36k in 11 months in my Evo the reason I sold it was the servicing every 4500 miles or about every 6 weeks. Anyways Im looking at new Scoobies but found they dont feel alll that quick, Ive tried Sti WRx fitted with PPP even had 4000 miles on it so was loosened up , dont take me wrong quick car compare to normally cars but it doesnt feel 0 - 60 pull as quick as Evo , Ok I know I can mod it and do recall my mates moddied P1 which was more than quick but I need a warrantly , What currently is the quickest model i can buy that come with Manufactor Warrantly

I did consider a 911 turbo but I do too many miles most private and are too much money for a new one/ year old one, Merc had a 350slk on demo for a couple days but the time u add extras you might as welll get a 55amg slk but thats over 50k +, Noble servicing is every 6k and no local dealers but I do love them and as its RWD with a turbo great fun, Looked at C spec but doesnt have A/C etc I know a wimp but 36k per year i do need some luxury. What about the IL or XL jap models looks like that have adjustable centre diff unlike UK models but its not a factory warranty. Id really like to aim at a 0 -60 car in -4 secs , umm i wish

Any warrantied Scooby is going to be boring to you IMHO.
If you really need turbo(s) and want to be sensible a 3.0 diesel? Daily car and fun car?
If you want one car to do it all at not silly money I think you already have it...

4k still isnt loose on a scoob, its acutally still tight then, as John says, a big diesel or see if you can pick up a nice AMG merc, though with the miles you do, the diesel is looking a good bet.

Mine didn't improve power or torque from testing at 1000 miles and 7000 miles with the same turbo and same map (I had changed the fuel injectors between and mapped to the same AFR, but no other changes).
