If I had 330BHP going through a car that weighs 34 kilos, I would expect it to travel at the speed of light too =)

Right, can we just take it as said that we've all slated this moron, Stef and Mike R have stepped in and said something really crushing to him, I've quoted ludicrous power figures for my marque, the cossie guys have laughed and laughed at him, with comments such as "liquorice blocks" and the such, the Skyline advocates have ripped it out of him for his lack of technological wizardry, the Evo guys here have disavowed him, and pointed out that they are pretty decent chaps after all, like the rest of us, and the thread has finally been locked.

There, now didn't that save a lot of time and effort.

Erm EVOboy, if you're spelling is as good as your driving, then even 330BHP won't help you mate.

Evo Bird

Are you Russian, because you type and spell like one.

I would be interested to see how your car fairs at USC 2000. Get it dynoed and let us know what it is like.

EVO (the mag) have just had a geezer purchase an EVO Rs Sprint for their fast fleet, should make an interesting read to see how this shed gets tuned.

You can hardly call an Evo VI a shed, no matter how much you dislike 'em. They're fast. Probably/Definitely faster than the scoob. Not driven one, but common comments are "hard as nails" ride, plus wierdness from the AYC on the rear end. On the Plus side? No understeer.

All apparently. I have an MY00 and love it to bits - wouldn't change it for anything at the mo (that I could afford). I'd like to drive an Evo VI, but as mine was 16k (from Holland), is it going to be twice as good?

Anyhow, I think that Beef hit the nail right on the head. Ever thought of being a Prophet, Beef ?

In referring to the EVO as a shed I was referring to the RS Sprint.

Quick the car undoubtedly is, however the car is sold with the view that the owner will strip everything out and use it for rallying, sprinting, hill climbs etc. I have seen the interior of one of these cars at Warrender in Bolton. Let me tell you the interior is worse than my Shed.

Apparently they are about as economical as he space shuttle. Read the EVO article when they did the super 4x4 test (not sure which issue) apparently the RS sprint was by far and away the most thirsty doing a maximum of 100 miles on a tank ouch!!

Am I right in thinking the RS Sprint was only available in white?

And comes as standard with naff charisma seats, etc??

And is gearing restricted to 125mph??

(basically was produced as an ideal base car for group N?)

If it is should be fast over the quarter though.

Evo thingy said "there to old",
You corrected him to "there too old",
and then I corrected you to "they're too old", so no, I didn't miss the point!

Sounds like the same sad teenage wannabe that posted the "Scoobs and TVRs Suck" thread on PistonHeads some weeks ago. Didn't he claim to have an Integrale then?

Yawn...

Rich.

for all you sad o.a.p's in here this is my first time in here in 25 live in london near bexleyheath work for a massive american company as a accounts finance technician,
i bought the car because looking at all the stats you get when its pitted against a p1 or 22b it just handle's better drive faster and is more of a adrenalin rush hence my choice of car!! im not dissing the 22b i think thats a fine piece of machinery and was really tempted into buying it, but i went for the evo pure and simply becos there's not alot around and all you hear nowadays is rs, r5's and scoobies.
well time for the evo's to get a foot in the door!!
and besides you boys were lucky i was gonna buy the a boosted up (extreme)evo model, you know the white one with red side skirts and bodykit. coorrr blimey then none of you lot would of stood any chance!! just look out for number plate r0w3n at usc 2000!!!

Err....Geezer,

I wasn't correcting what he wrote, I was simply quoting it!

I always thought '>' meant "quote", ie. from someone's email.

So when I wrote:

> there too old

that meaned that EVOboy wrote that, I guess I could have put:

EVOboy: "there too old"; EVOboy wrote this

Get it?

Imran,
At last I see what you are getting at. Unfortunately, you misquoted him, that is why I rather pedantically corrected you.

Guys,

2 things...

1) Have you noticed how we never see evi_vi and nova turbo at the same time? Makes you think...

2) So how do you get a Blue RS sprint then? I believe that the RS is white as standard, just like the Type RA impreza equivelant.

Fancy buying a car based on what you've read in the mags.

Jeez, on that basis all these P1 guys would be cancelling their orders...

...SORRY, SORRY, SORRY - it just SLIPPED out
