Default Fitting a TD05 FE, help!

I have a 1995 WRX with the following mods:

440cc Injectors
HKS Front Mounted Intercooler
HKS Induction Kit
Apexi Full System from turbo back
Apexi AVCR Boost Controller
Apexi Power FC ECU
Walbro 255lt hr Fuel Pump

With the following mods to go on:

550cc Denso Purple Top Injectors
FSE Fuel Pressure Regulator
TD05 FE

I wanted to know if anyone has done one of these conversions on a classic so as not to change the manifold for a slightly higher STI manifold and retain the existing one and use spacers as this is the route i want to take?

I went and purchased an STI4 Manifold for height clearance of the hose from turbo to air filter but the throttle position sensor has 3 wires on ther STI4 manifold whereas mine has 4 and i also bought a Modified fuel rail with -6 ends, but am just gonna sell these parts as advised that i dont need screw in -6 connectors as not running big pressure or bhp.

The only route i can think of is raising the manifold with spacers, but does anyone know how much in height it has to be raised and where i can get the parts?

Have u any pics or ideas on how to modify the fuel pipes as they will be done away with to fit the FPR and proper fuel hose put in place with t-piece connectors and make the fuel system parallel?

I know that the power steering pump has to be replaced for a later model as is too big on the 1995 WRX!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as need to get this conversion done in next few weeks before i get the car mapped?

Why not just fit a 90 degree samco onto the turbo,so you dont go under the manifold at all.
Look on 911s thread in projects for info on the parallel fuel line conversion.

Why have you bought a td05 fe, I thought a 95 car had a td05 h ( 90 degree entry ) as standard, unless youve gone 18/20G. I personally believe that there is very little between a front and 90deg entry.

It does have a TD05 as standard, but was told that it does make a hell of a difference being front entry and the only reasonably priced route to big bhp!

Why change your injectors, the 440's will be fine for the kind of power you'll looking for with the TD05.

Wouldn't fit the FSE either, do a search and I think you'll find keeping the the OEM is a safer option !

Are 440's not good to 350bhp, i want 350 or a bit more, think 550;s are the safer option.

What is the maximum rating for a standard Fuel pressure reg then?

Was told to replace if upping the pressure as want to run 1.4-1.5 bar.

Am getting an SX Regulator now

Yep, 440's good for around 350, I'm not sure you'll get more out of the TD05 though on normal Optimax.
As for the fuel reg goes, I'm changing my TD05 for a TD05/06 soon looking to make circa 370, even at this Bob Rawl has said that the OEM reg will be OK, mind you that's on a V5 STI.
SX is a much better option though, thinking of going for one myself eventualy.
