Default clutch replacment on 94 wrx help

Hi,

My WRX 94 Import clutch is slipping and I need to replace it. The garge has quoted me a fair price but I may tackle the job myself.

Has anybody else done it them selves and was it easy etc..?

Cheers

The best price I got is a guy who specilizes in Scoobys and is the guy I bought my first WRX off in Hannam, Bristol and will do it all in for £350 + £30 to skim the fly wheel if required. If you need more info let me know

Cheers

doing a clutch is not that difficult if you're handy with spanners, BUT the engine does not need to be removed, although the gearbox does.... and that is quite heavy, and can be awkward if you don't have the use of ramps... if you're not at least a competent diyer.... let someone else do it!!

Default clutch

That sounds a fair price for fitting. Who was it who would fit it for that.
