we were trying to extend the loom on my mates sti 7 and noticed one of the five wires is a shielded wire,this is the grey one,it is twice as thich as the others,on stripping the wire we noticed it has a shielding around the inner wire which the signal travels down,we soldered all the wires up but were not sure on what to do with the shielding,we have left it for the time being and the engine management light has came on,anyone have any experience in this,any help would be much appreciated
