the smell of fuel
My 2004 STi PPP smells like a bloody petrol pump after a full a tank of Optimax. The smell vanishes when the tank is 3/4 full.
Is this normal ???
I like my driving but don't fancy getting bladder cancer !!!

I have an 02sti and get exactly this. Fuel smell outside car on full to 3/4 of a tank.Now and again smells inside the car but very rarely. I've had the car for just about a year and its always done it.Definatly has no leaks,Its been checked several times.No one seems to be able to cure it.
