changed plugs a month ago. helped a little. having a missfire sometimes at low revs or whilst trying to keep a set speed. sometimes sounds like its ticking over on3 and the revs drop. also when its missing its allways on gentle throttle. add more and it clears. ive cleaned boost solonoid and maf too.

so leads it is.

had the engine ticking over without the hks on it. sprayed carb cleaner lightly into the wire as directed by lots (not just one or two) of people on here. had to tickle the throttle gently as it was killing off the revs whilst spraying. didnt make fap all diffirence once id done it though.

Thats because the wire wasn't actually getting cleaned .... the spray was just flying past it - the odd molecule would have hit it maybe .... but it VERY difficult to clean properly.
