Speedo has stopped working
It started jumping up and down about a week ago, now it's given up altogether, any ideas to what could be wrong and how to rectify it?
It's a MY95 series mcrae.

Ok I had the clocks out tonight and no speedo cable or drive for one, so it must an electrical one, all the plugs on the rear of clocks are well pushed in, so where do I look from here for the problem??????

If it's the same as a MY99 open the bonnet, and look down the left hand side off the gear box, you will see a big plug remove the plug and see if there is any corrosion on the plug or socket, this is where it takes the signal from for the speedo. I had the same problem, clean it up and spray some switch cleaner or wd40 into the plug and socket.
Hope this helps
