Default Help needed: PE 800

Hi all!

I'm clompleting the details of my little project for my MY03 STi. And I'm just to be ready for the mapping except for an issue with the new PE Injectors:

I just recived a call from the mecanic who is installing the parts.

He told me that they have the front side of the injector bigger than the hole where they should go allocated. Any ideas of where the problem can be?

I double checked the reference on the japanese web of PE and it seems to be the correct ones:

TH800F
18-ATH3-800GD1

Some pics of both injectors:

Apologies for the quality, if someone need better ones, I'll request them.

We have another big problem, now at the garage.

The injectors seems that they dont seat correctly. On the other and, I have been told by US users that they are very tricky to install.

I need someone to confirm that they are the correct ones.

Pic attached.

Is someone knows if they are correctly seated as they are displayed in the pic, please let me know.

Thanks.

Thanks for the advice guys.

When it comes to hot engine parts and petrol spray, im a 'measure twice/cut once' type of guy.

another tip is make sure the battery isn't flat so you can disconnect the fuel pump and turn over the engine a few times to remove the fuel form the lines

yes if there is a hard way to do something i will do it

apart from that i think it all take off what you see and push in the new injectors - be sure to remove the old rubber seats from the pinks as your PE's dont need them

ow and as neil says i think most don't put the green things back .. i did but what the heck, a puzzle always goes down well
