16G in a wagon
Hi Guys,
I'm doing a engine swap and found out that the engine I purchased has a 16G with a 3B ecu. Would there be any problems I should be aware of? Basically, would I be able to drive it at an autoX or drag strip without any troubles? Ideally I'd like to get the Z4 ecu, but it's kind of hard to find.
Thanks in advance for any info.

Be careful. The 3B ecu is from a wrx wagon which uses a td04 turbo. The z4 you refer to has to be coupled with a td05 ideally. (some people on here have used it with a td05 - whether it is a good combo i dont know - i wouldnt recomend it - the boost control is not best suited). While the engine is out if i were you i would get a td05 turbo and a z4 ecu on there. Youll be better for it.
I myself and a few others have great results from the ugrade on our wrx wagons.
