You have a different ECU to the MY98 so the wiring is different.
Do a search and you'll find a diagram somewhere... Also do a search for the Ravensblade site as they have ECU wiring diagrams on there.

You wont find any with colour codes, at least I havent seen any.
You have 2 methods of picking up an AFR signal. 1 is from the lambda sensor 2 is from the ECU. Note - the lambda wires wont solder and wont be the same colour at the ECU.
If you are going direct to the Lambda, the car has a 3 wire sensor - with one being a heater. The sensor only becomes live once its heated. The other will be earth and signal.
If you are going to the ECU its white with silver stripes - pin 6 on B43
I think its the fifth wire across, the first (pin 1) port doesnt have a wire in it.
Ensure your earth is spot on.
