90k service
Hi, got the big 90k service just coming up and was thinking of doing it myself if i can get the time. Does anyone know exactly what is involved and what parts I would need. Also if anyone knows of good subaru specialist (Cheltenham area)
Thanks in advance

The 90K service is supposed to include spark plugs, oil and oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, brake fluid, coolant, gearbox and rear diff oil and cambelt change along with all the associated bits for that lot such as gaskets, sump plug etc.
I staggered the cost of mine but getting a little bit done every month.

It is wise to do the front crank seal at 90k as they leak around 100k usually so you then have to change the cambelt again at 100k when the seal goes
seal is about £12 from memory and not much extra work to do when the cambelt is off for the 90k service.. this is assuming you are on the 45k cambelt interval and not the longer one.

Oh and cambelt is nice and check from www.camskill.com
but you need to go to the dealer for the crank seal.. check the cam seals are not leaking too while you are there and there is manual for the cambelt change etc
available from Chris's website in the scooby section http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co.uk
