Where to buy short piece (4") of exhaust wrap?
Hi all,
Last week I fitted a nice shiny new Hayward & Scott backbox to my STI5 Type R.
Unfortunately when fitted I've found it sits with the tailpipe about 1mm away from the underneath of the rear bumper. While this is great for ground clearance, I noticed after a drive that the exhaust is melting the underneath of the bumper, which in turn is dripping onto the nice shiny SS tailpipe and leaving a hideous looking burnt mess on it.
I want to file off the melted bit of the bumper so it's smooth and then glue/rivet a bit of heatproof fabric tape (like exhaust wrap) onto the underside of the bumper where it almost touches the tailpipe.
Any idea where I can buy a short pice of this exhaust wrap tape about 4" long? Or does anyone have an offcut in their garage that they could send me?
Cheers all.

I would have thought cool-it tape (silver foil-like tape) would be better than exhaust wrap. And I just happen to have a roll at home. PM me your address and I'll send you a strip.
