How much bhp?
Can anyone tell me the exact bhp figure for a wrx sti type-ra version 1??

250ps for the original 100 run. The big jump was at the v3.

Retuned ecu, different engine parts, the cars are only 10ps up on the standard wrx of the day, there was a good increase in torque aswell.

Your thinking of the STi version 1 as having 250ps, which is correct (but it is PS and not BHP).
But the question was for the STi type Ra, this has 275ps (~271bhp).
