Knocking noise from N/S/R ???

Knocking noise from N/S/R ???
Hi all ,
I have got a 97MY Uk impreza Turbo which has developed a knock from the n/s/r when going over harsh speed bumps and large pot holes ! It is fine whislt driving normally and going over small bumps in the road !
The noise is quite a loud solid thump noise which can also be felt through the car sometimes , it has the prodrive suspension and the noise is mainly noticeable at slow speeds .
Can anyone throw some light on what to look for ????

My money's on the rear anti roll bar bushes. Mine have just gone for the 2nd time on my MY97 
. Hope that's all it is, as I just picked up some polyurathane (sp?) ones on here for £20, front and rear 
. The OEM ones are soft rubber so wear out quickly. I had OEM replacement ones fitted by Subaru when I first got the car and it cost me over a ton I think (rip off)
