hi all

just discovered on a 'spirited drive' that when foot down and full boosting the car has a metal rasping clattering type of noise, never noticed before and the heatshields are all ok. sounds like a turbo problem but not too sure...
any ideas?

Also where you top up the water infront of the battery, below a pipe goes into the wing, where does this go as i think im loosing water through this.

not a good day so help much appreciated.

The pipe is supposed to be openended, its an overflow. Just points to the bottom of the battery area.

Check the heatshield for the exhaust manifold under the front of the bumper, this is a common problem on old WRX's.
