Default VF23 and STI V3 ECU

can anyone advise me for a future upgrade,
rebuilt V3 STI engine 10k ago full TSL firstorm + decat green panel filter
is the VF23 worth changing, also what the best ecu upgrade for v3 looking for flexable road car with low/mid range power increase.
thanks
sam

could try a vf24 which would give you a little extra midrange over the 23, but persoanly i wouldnt bother

you could keep the vf23, have it remapped so it comes in much harder on boost and give you a big dollop of extra torque which would make it drive nicer?

thanks m8
il stick with the vf23 curently peaking at 1.5bar and holding 1.3
is that about right?
also what amount of boost can the vf23 turbo safly run after a remap
who would you recommend to remap a v3 ecu?

thats quite a lot of boost for a vf23

about 1.4bar peak is the recomended saftey limit from memory
the amount of boost which you can run purely depends on how well the thing is set up, whats cooling it, and how hard its being stressed, and probably a million other things

how long have you been running 1.5bar peak?

making it peak at 1.39bar would be fine IMO

remaping a v3 will more then likey call for a new ecu

Definitely the way to go + an Apexi AVC-R boost controller.

Contact Andy F, he does a good deal on Apexi stuff and the mutts nuts for mapping.
