Replace MAF Yes or No
My car wasn't idling properly and then the check engine light then came on. I read the ECU codes which told me it was the MAF, ok I thought, no problem, I will replace it. Then the light went out, then came back on agan (can't make its mind up). After it started doing the above, the light stayed out in the end. So I reset the ECU to see if that would bring any errors and it hasn't. I have ordered a new MAF yesterday so I might just fit it anyway.
Car is running an K&N Induction Kit on a P1.
Edited to say the MAF is only 3 months old.
Now the car has been running fine all day with no CEL light flashing at me.
Is it worth replacing the MAF anyway or wait until the bad idling happens again?

Yep, it is held in fine. I double checked everything before fitting the new one.
Going to keep the induction kit as the car has been mapped for it.
Will see how long this MAF lasts for.
