Unhappy Running on 3! Part 2

MY98 Turbo wagon, standard except for prodrive backbox and dump valve

Further to my previous post about my problem, I took the car out earlier, in order to get more of an idea when the problem takes place. All weekend the car has been fine on short journeys.

When the engine was at operating temperature, I took it down the road. No problem at all driving like Miss Daisy, but then i decided to floor it and see how it reacted to that. Anyway, it turns out that its running on three after a short/long hard run. Whilst it was running on three cylinders and struggling to idle, the exhaust fumes were very strong and black. The cat was also very bad, considering it was only a very short run.

Please help me with this one, I dont want to give it to a garage until I know what it is

Many thanks

Yup, thats unburnt fuel getting fired into your zorst. You will need to remove all ya spark plugs to find out which cylinder it's missing on, you will know which one when ya see it. Try changing the plug first, if that does'nt cure it work back from there.
