TD05 will produce more power than VF34 IMHO. What power are you looking for?

Best bet would be to find yourself a secondhand TD05 or get your TD05 reconditioned, try Turbo Dynamics

Dont forget it wont be just $900, there will be shipping, import duty and the lovely VAT to add

You can get the TD05 recon'd for under £200 and it will match any VF on the market !

turbo technics quote 150 for new seals and bearings.

I sent mine to turbo dynamics due to a bad review for turbo technics and aftre they checked it the quoted me 380, which was 450 odd after VAT (needed a new core).

When it came back it looked like a brand new turbo.

Assuming it has not actually failed and broken the turbine wheel or casing then it can be fully serviced with new bearings, seals and thrusts, ported to match your exhaust system (if upgraded ?) and returned to you within 3 days for no more than the price quoted above.

Andy

I'll PM you my workshop address.

Most likely!

Boost threshold will rise by about 500 rpm, and is not as sprightly as a TD04, but will give better torque and power once it gets going.
