Things to remember.....let me see.
Oil is HOT, or it is just after a blast to Halfrauds for some Mobil1.
Subaru jacks are weak, and the winder thingie is on the underside of the piece of cardboard covering the spare wheel.(A screwdriver will do the job.)
Sump guard clips are brittle.
Oil filters dont come off as easy as it says in the book.
Always sharpen your screwdriver before driving it through your filter !
Dont be alarmed at the amount of oil needed to pre-fill your filter.
After draining the oil, always put somemore back in.
Dont drop your filler cap into the depths of the engine bay, it will disappear never to be seen again.
Dont bother putting the sump guard back on, its only designed to be fitted once, and thats at the factory.
Move the bowl of used engine oil from under the car before you drive off.
Dont re-fill with nice mobile1 at 40 quid a throw BEFORE you replace the sump plug.
