Driving to work this morning and about 3 miles from wor kthe "Antilock Brakes" warning light illuminated on the dash (N reg WRX)
Whats the most likely cause for this? Cold it just be a fuse or something?
Thanks
Steve

should have said, is the light a circle with a line through (much like the handbrake light) - if so, then brake fluid, if not, then could be the ABS pump/sensor, if I were you I would check fluid, and then find somewhere safe to lock the brakes whilst moving to see if ABS is working

No mate no symbol like that the actual words "Antilock brakes" are lit up in yellow on the dash.
Prob more likely to be ABS pump then?

That also now looks likely as i went to the petrol station on my lunch hour and the light isnt illuminated anymore!

Just done an MPG count and i got 220 miles from 39 litres which i work out to be about 25mpg. Better than i thought!

My light just came on ocaassionaly at first, but over time it gradually started appearing more and more, until it eventually stayed on and I had to do something about it!!

Hopefully it is just a sccoby gremlin and yours may go away!!

Have you checked both the rear brake bulbs are working?
If both go you get this warning light come on, Not a well documented thing but it happened to me.
