Question Hesitation on Acceleration

I have read in these forums about turbo judder my 2001 bugeye wrx only does this every now and again is this to do with the lambda sensor? Also the other night I was out a blast with this happening and when I stopped the turbo was glowing red should this happen? The car is still under warranty and I don't know if I should take it back to the dealer or if there is a simple fix. Help please for the newbie.
Also is a dump valve worth fitting?
