Do you know what type of engine you have, it's layout etc. Do you know what the major bits are under the bonnet. Seriously i wonldn't touch anything yourself on the car going by this and previous questions you've asked. Get Rob to put them in .

Just was in the garage...and have found the injectors...
Of course I see the concern...but there’s only one way to learn. and that is to do it yourself... (my job also revolves around learning)...Sometimes doing work yourself puts the fun into owning a Scooby...
Steve, thanks for the links..
Just waiting on my adaptors and a mapping date, then they will go in..

Out of interest Sam, did you buy phase 2 440's? if not you wont need adaptors they are a straight swap. I totally agree with DIY adding to the enjoyment of scoob ownership, swapping injectors is also a pretty simple job.
Havent checked the Link to see what it says but use plenty of WD40.
Unplug connector from Injector.
spray inj top with WD40
rotate injector left to right to allow WD40 to wet the O rings
pull injector out.
Tip for refitting...
If phase one injectors:
The injectors have 4 seals, 3 rubber and one teflon (IIRC)
place the central rubber seal and teflon seal inside the fuel rail before fitting the injector, these have a tendancy to dislodge when fitting the injectors and cause leakage.
Apply a small smear of grease (very thin layer) to allow the new inj to slide in and seat properly.
Cheers
Rob

Rob,
Funny Bloke….
There phase 2 injectors, Carl is making me the adaptors for them, and they will be ready for me on Tuesday..
The install revolves around the mapping and my fmic..
Not sure how or what the adaptors look like till I get them, as I have never seen them before…
Thanks for the advise above...

Sam, where have you been? (post #7)
I've put together some rough instructions with regards the removal of the original injectors and refitting of the 440's with the collars. Will email you the file once it's finished. All the info here is good and as has been said it's a fairly simple job.
When you're fitting the Phase 2's with my collars there is only two seals to worry about when you're fitting them into the rails, just make sure you use a smear of grease/vaseline like Rob says and you'll be fine.
