Default Coil pack failure??????

not sure if it will react the same but the tvr seemed to be holding back a week or so ago now it wont even start... the AA said it was the crank position sensor that has now been changed and still no spark. wot are the symptoms on a scooby for the coil pack dying??????? might just order one to try it....

what year?

Are you sure it is no spark and not no fuel?

is the fuel pump priming when ignition first turned on?

its a 2000 tuscan. yes there is fuel as it is soaking the plugs when you try to start it.... keep taking them out and drying off but there is no spark at all.. have just got the coil pack part number from tvr if all else fails brands will be a no-no on monday and car will be shipped to dealer unless fire sets in

but is there a signal there now the crank position sensor have been changed?

if there is no input to the coil then it cannot be a coil failure it is further up the chain.

ECU for example, it might also need a signal from the cam position sensor before it sparks so that might be worth looking at.. that is assuming it has a cam position sensor.
