Default Tapping a WRX IC for pressure switch mounting?

I was thinking about tapping the rear of the IC on the N/S to mount my pressure switch for the water spray. Is the wall thick enough to allow this?

Its an MY98 WRX saloon. The switch is 1/4 bsp.

When we had GEMS fitted to my mates rally car the i/c was drilled for a temperature sensor so it should be thick enough.

The TMIC endtanks are cast, they are plenty thick enough to drill and tap.
