Default oil coolers for classic impreza?

As above, does anyone use them? are they a worth while mod? and where have you mounted them, cheers

yes I have one it was fitted by the Japanese owner before I imported it.

At service in August we found it was not fitted with a Subaru oil filter. after a lot of searching on the net I found it was this -

a mocul (sp) from a toyota supra!

temp appears to be steady at 90 deg even when "making progress"

Im glad to have it fitted.

it is mounted on offside under bumper - with cool air flow directed from brake cooling ducts on a 22b bumper

cheers mate, any pics of your bumper? is the oil cooler visible?

I will try and take a pic this weekend but it is more or less hidden by the under body splash tray. it is a very solid mounting and the kit appears to be v high quality.

Or alternatively you could get a 6.5 litre sump cheaper and less hassle thats what i will be getting for my 2.5

Just had a mocal oil cooler fitted to my wagon - keeps the temps 90 degrees or below. It's mounted in front of the radiatior.

Got to look after my stroker kit!!!!
