oil coolers for classic impreza?
As above, does anyone use them? are they a worth while mod? and where have you mounted them, cheers

yes I have one it was fitted by the Japanese owner before I imported it.
At service in August we found it was not fitted with a Subaru oil filter. after a lot of searching on the net I found it was this - http://www.overboost.com/obs/product...sion%20Coolers http://www.overboost.com/obs/product/greddy_OCKit.jpg a mocul (sp) from a toyota supra! temp appears to be steady at 90 deg even when "making progress" Im glad to have it fitted. it is mounted on offside under bumper - with cool air flow directed from brake cooling ducts on a 22b bumper |
cheers mate, any pics of your bumper? is the oil cooler visible?

I will try and take a pic this weekend but it is more or less hidden by the under body splash tray. it is a very solid mounting and the kit appears to be v high quality.

Just had a mocal oil cooler fitted to my wagon - keeps the temps 90 degrees or below. It's mounted in front of the radiatior.
Got to look after my stroker kit!!!!
