e-manage is poor compared to what you can get for the same money.

tek3,link or apexi power fc would be a better bet.

do you have an uprated fuel pump and reg, if not they would be my next buy.

e-manage looks reasonably competent to me. £171+delivery from Greenline with an ignition harness, 16*16 maps to control ignition and MAF offsets. Cable is available for £25 and the software is on the Yahoo group. Yes it is a piggyback, so you can't raise the rev limit, it also needs a separate zener diode as a FCD, a few pence from Maplin. And some cheap method of boost control. I am thinking of using one for our 2.5 Legacy Turbo, since it is very cheap like all the other stuff on the car - cast off Porsche calipers, reuse chargecooler, £100 set of old heads etc. With a big MAF housing made from plastic drain pipe feeding a 20G it could work quite well I think, probably about 400 BHP and 400 lbft if we get some cheap headers on it.

in my opinion by the time you get all the add ons for the e-manage you may aswell have got a power fc.

you will also be able to find someone to map them that knows them inside out.

same with the link and tek3.

john, let us know how you get on with the e-manage, i have seen a few fitted to cars that have come over from japan and i have come to the conclusion that they are a poor alternative, i just hate chopped wiring looms!

I've got an E-manage on my 95WRX mapped by GDA hear Tunbridge Wells and it seems to work well enough although I don't really have anything to compare it to. I think they got a loom for an Apexi or HKS system plugged that into the cars loom and cut that so they didn't have to cut the cars loom. Makes it easy to remove if there are problem or I want to sell the car.
I also have a HKS boost controller to handle the boost control!

Default fuel reg

I'm going for a Tek3 soon and an uprated pump, is there no point going for an uprated pump without the reg? Do you have to go for the reg?
