Unhappy boost then no boost

i have a 97 uk car and the other day i give a bit of welly as it got into high revs it sort of missed a couple of times now the boost only works when it wants to it still pulls but not the instant smilling machine it was any help would good as i am not a mecahnic thnx

Have you had it serviced or done any servicing yourself recently. My Car has been doing similar things just recently.

Let me know and i'll put my thinking cap on.

Scoobyimp, Does the reduction in Boost tend to occur under particular circumstances?

sounds like it could have gone into limp home mode.
try re setting your ecu.theres loads of threads on here about how to do it mate.

i aint had it serviced or anything yet i only just bought the thing but if i found out what it is i will let you no

I traced mine down to a fuel filter change and she wasn't fueling properly and then cutting boost.

did the boost cut in if you put your foot down then lift it up then put it down again
