Question O2 sensor question / ecu voltage

The O2 sensor produces a waveform, which can be read at the jack in the engine bay. Question is should you see the same waveform at the signal pin on the ecu or a constant voltage?

Cheers Rob, my old O2 was shot, she was reading a constant 0.7 at the ecu.

Simon, how are you measuring it. Do you use a normal voltmeter? Do you open up the ECU and make contact with the pin, or read it off the wire or what???

I use a standard DVM on the connector block. The probe then contacts the connector.

Are you checking ground on the sensor too or are you using the engine block?
