craig, did you not get my sketch??
behind (towards the rear of the car) the alternator there is a rubber nipple about 1 1/2" long that just pulls off.
replace with vacuum hose but remember to keep the nipple for future use!!

on the same topic,
where is the best place to route the hose through from the engine bay, and also where is the best place to draw power for the light in a boost guage

I routed the hosing down in the corner between the a-pillar (offside) and windscreen.
it looks tight but it goes all the same.
I drew power from the radio cassette, grounded to my earthing point that I added to the offside turret mount.
if you havent done that then either ground to a good chassis point or the radio cassette again.
between the engine bay and the cockpit there are a load of grommits that allow you to pass things through and then I ran it alongside the coolent hosing and cable tied off to support it.

where should the hose come out of through the a pillar and window,mine came down into footwell now it look's like i don't have enough hose where should it come out and where has everyone got them entering engine bay pic's anyone thank's
