Hey guys. Can any one help me here again.

This has been a problem for a while now.
After i got my full de-cat done last year(wrongly) it melted my spedo cable. The actual cable didnt turn and stripped the little orange toothed ruber band in the converter. My engine light kept cuming on but i was assured that this was due to the speedo not working. I now have it all fixed. Speedo working fine etc. Problem is my engine light still comes on???

It only comes on if im backing off, in any gear, like on the aproach to a junction or something. It takes a few seconds to come on and if i knock it in to nutral and let the revs drop to idle for a few soconds, it goes off again!!!!!!!

Any one have any ideas???
