Default ECU PIN OUTS

I want to use an AE801 ecu in a JDM my99.

AFAIK, the cam and crank angle sensor wires have to be swapped and a climate control wire has to be grounded.

Anyone tried this before?

Please can anyone help with which wires these are?

The crank and cam wires do need switching, for climate control to work the enable pin "may" need to be grounded. Not tried to do though as I have had no need, pcb is the same except for the climate control axial comp's are missing. Is it a WRX or STi.

Assume you are putting a Eurospec engine in.

It is an STi my99 that has a euro spec engine (from a uk99 awd turbo).

OK so the cam and crank wires need to be swapped,and the climate cont wire may need to be grounded.

How can I identify these wires on the ecu plug?

The only other thing im concerned about is,the air temp probe in the inlet pipe.
Will this cause any problems?

Thanks for your help

BTW,what does pcb mean?

pcb = printed circuit board.

the air temp sensor shouldn't cause a problem, might even work on the ecu, plan to check that out when I get time.

mail me as per profile and I'll send you the ecu pinout info
