Bonnet Scoop For Facelifting Classic
Hi Guys
Just about to start face lifting my MY95 WRX, but was wondering with the bonnet……..as the 95 intercooler is on a slant and the later models aren’t what is the best thing to do about the intake leading from the bonnet scoop to the turbo and intercooler on the earlier bonnets. Can it be utilized in any way, or do I need to manufacture something to have the same effect for when the facelift bonnet is installed?
Cheers
John

I know I was just simplifying the question
I haven't tried this. You could always fit a later IC.
Not too difficault.
Trim the inlet an new IC by 5mm and bend the engine steady mount edges out the way. Might need to fabricate a "Y" hose or buy a Samco kit to fit and use the later DV

No the old under bonnet tray will not fit on the new bonnet. I had to adapt both types to suit. I will be changing mine soon as i will be changing the inlet manifold and intercoler to the later type.... so if you get the underbonet scoop with the bonnet i will swap you my hybrid for the new one.
