2004 WRX PPP & a Dawes - silly idea?
As above - am i pushing my luck slapping a Dawes on and edging the boost up a touch?
I know the warranty implications - i'm asking here about the mechanics of the idea. Will i get fuelling/Det probs? If i could get away with it - what is a sensible boost level?
My non PPP Bug eye i ran at 1.15bar, at 1.2 it got far too hot & felt like it produced less power. No idea what the 04 WRX PPP boost level is set at - is it 1.1 bar?
I'm not running a filter or anything like that on the 04 - it's stock except for the PPP exhaust system (mid cat gone, prodrive bb).

It would be a bit risky using a Dawes without a boost gauge. A Knocklink would be advisable too. I think the PPP boost level is around 1.2 anyway which is pretty near as much as you could run safely with your current set up.

Thanks all, i'll leave it, the car is producing dollops of power so i've got no complaints - just wanted to know what sort of overhead there was to play with & it's nothing so thats that.
Many thanks.
