Default GC8 ecu Mapping

Hi all, I got me a 95 GC8 WRX import, I have been advised to either get my ECU re-mapped or replaced as the current settings are no good for 95/98 octane fuel and cause detonation (not good)! plus im missing out on some boost which a re-mapped ECU can give me back, Does anyone know who or where i can get this done or buy one from?
cheers
Aaron

hiya mate,
I posted a thread in the group buy section the other day about this and there were five other people like you who wanted one.
THE SCOOBY ECU WILL NOT WORK IN YOUR CAR - see below and add to the thread if you wish,

Hope this help
As you may be aware Pavlo (or paul) sells scoobyecu chips for all classic impreza SALOONS.
For those of you with the WRX wagon with the td004 turbo a scoobyecu would not work. For it to work Pavlo would have to spend time and money developing a bespoke map.
I have recently spoken to pavlo and he has agreed for me to post a thread to see how many people would be interested in buying one of these chips if they were built. (it is not worth his while to do just one!)
The price of the scoobyecu normanlly is 100£ plus 40£ to fit to the WRX board.
So i would imagine a WRX wagon scoobyecu would cost a little over these figures fitted.
As the chip has not been developed yet no-one can say how much difference the chip would make but i would hope an extra 15-20bhp over the standard 220PS is easily achievable.

So here goes: please add names and emails to this thead so we can get some numbers and try to keep it on the first page!

REMEMBER you must have a WRX import WAGON running Td004 to add to this thread. (sorry no uk motors)
Andy

1996 WRX Wagon running Fujitsubo exhaust and Green Induction Kit

p.s this does not mean that the chips will be a definate - this is only to get numbers together.

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?

The only car that is different is the WRX wagon and possibly some STi's

The WRX saloon has a td05, the Uk wagon and saloon has a td05
