Default LOUD SCREECHING NOISE?

Hi all

I have got this very high pitched screeching noise from my front right wheel at any speed but especialy when turning and going round corners. Sounds bit like a stone grinding on the brake discs or something. Just had new pads fitted. Could be a bearing but dont these usualy hum when theyre gone. Every now and then gets ear piercingly loud for no reason then settles down again.

Any suggestions?

If it started straight after the pads were fitted then I would suggest taking it back to whoever fitted them. Sounds like they didn't do a proper job. (Like a certain BMW dealership who shall remain nameless who omitted to refit one of my front brakepads during a routine service on my old 3 series )

Wheel bearing is a constant rumble or whine, usually low pitched, which will get louder with speed.

Check the obvious things like all the wheel nuts are tight etc.
