MY99 Maf alternative?
About to change from my standard airbox to an induction kit but I am slightly concerned about the hardiness of the film MAF sensor. Is there a more robust alternative for my model?

Is it the original, or has it been replaced at all? If it's the original, the replacements (from a Subaru dealer) are supposed to be a bit more resilient.
Which induction kit you going for? If the K&N 57i, I don't think you'll have too many problems. Just make sure it's secure to minimise vibration...

It might be worth getting a new one anyway mate. You're probably one of a very small number of people who've managed to get 5 years out of a MAF...!
