Default Knocklink brightness

My knocklink is just too dim to see in the daytime. Is there anyway of making it a little brighter in anyway, using the existing bulbs? Others must be getting annoyed by the same thing. It's just rubbish!

Yeah I noticed this too. Maybe you could reposition it to a darker/shaded location. Dont know if you could brighten it up so to speak - techy guru will be able to tell you.

It wasnt till night time till I realised that I had 2 green lights on the go

2 green lights is still normal. trust me if you have det you will hear it as well as the K/L lighting up to the big amber.

I have mine fitted here and have no probs seeing the lights.

Its all in the positioning, as said. I stuck mine on the lower dash surround on the left hand side, as Sinky has, only horizontally mounted. Out of the light then.

Sinky, if you can hear det in the car, without cans, I will be amazed and more worried how your engine is in one bit

Ant the big "amber" is actually a big "red" btw

I stand corrected on the red light bit. course its red, though i still get the full line of lights on redline gear change. as for det, you are right as well, now that i have a full decat, the noise in the cabin is rather intrusive

cheers
