How much for a bonnet respray
Hi all,
Just a quickie really. As some of you know I have a 94 WRX JDM. It has at some point in the past had a head on and the bonnet has a few paint cracks (identical crosses on either side strangly enough) I quite fancy making it look like a later classic with the new mesh bonnet grilles and the new impreza front with badge etc and the new look. Something like this http://www.subiegalracing.com/images...sti_badge2.jpg
How much am I looking at to do this, including respray, bearing in mind the bonnet may or may not be FUBAR'd.
hmm,, STI 5 Wing is now calling

The problem with re-spraying a bonnet,is that they have to 'blow' in the wings as well to disguise the slight colour mis-match
The bottom line is,that you pay for what you get!
IIRC I was quoted £250 for my old MY96,It might be worth trying a smaller independant bodyshop and suggesting to them that you wouldn't need a receipt,cough..cough

Agree, you get what you pay for!
I think its about £250 round here. Ive seen some ones at the cheaper price of £150, then couple of months down the line you can see why they were £150. lol

Well some kind **** has just keyed my bonnet up here in Aberdeen and I`ve just got a quote for £400, that`s for blending as well. That is from a comapny with an excellent reputation. Just to give you an idea of what the upper limits should be.

Im based in Cheshire, Ellesmere Port to be exact. I know someone who does it for a living who may do it for pound notes but ive still gotta get the bonnet vents etc. Basically the front end needs a good sortout so im reckoninh £600 as new sidelight is required as is a bit of sorting out etc.
