Strange goings on with Air-Con??
I had the car ticking over on the driveway today (MY00) with the bonnet open, car was warm, and the Air-Con was switched on.
I have never noticed before, but the Air-Con pump would click in, Both Fans would start up-keep going for 10 secs or so, then both the pump and fans would switch off!!
It kept repeating this cycle over and over again!!
I'm sure I have read about this before, and it was the sign of some kind of trouble with the car!!
Anyone know if this is right, or have noticed the same with their car??
Cheers,

Yep, perfectly normal mate. A/C compressor will kick in and out normally to maintain system pressure and the fans operate to ensure the A/C condensor (in front of the rad) get maximum cooling.
You normally only need to worry about the A/C when the air coming into the car is not getting cold anymore.
