Jargon buster help
As a new member on this forum, although I've owned my 98 WRX Sti for 5 years now, I'm amazed by the number of "in the know abbreviations". Could anyone point me in the direction of a thread that can explain the differences betwenn the WOT's, MAF's and Det's of this world?
WOT = Wide open throttle
MAF = Sensor that measures the amount of air entering the engine and then the ECU puts in the right amount of fuel.
Det = detonation / pinking . . . not good for the engine
Hope it helps
