Overhauling Power Steering Pumps???
Does anyone know if service kits available for a MY99 UK Turbo power steering pump? Looks like the front seal is gone on mine as it's started to decorate the front of the engine with fluid and cr@p, level isn't dropping too quickly and I have a secondhand unit I got today from a breakers that I'm going to fit on Friday. I'd like to overhaul my original pump and bring it to as-new if possible.

If you d manage to get the old one apart, you might find it cheaper to take the old "pattern" seals into a local "bearing" company, as they specialise in supply of not just bearings, but seals as well.
So they can "match" something up for you.

most likely to just be the seal between the resivoir and pump.. about 80p from a Scoob dealer..
Either that or it could be the seal on the spindle which is a bout £5 from a scoob dealer.
