Post battery disconnected for a while

if i disconnected the battery for a couple of hours to do spark plug change do i need to do an ecu reset?

if you disconnect the battery for a couple of hours you'll have probably done one!!!

will i need to drive no more than 3krpm for 10-15 until warm or can i just go out and not worry about it?

Just drive normally (what ever that may be), the ecu will adjust to your driving pattern over the next hundred miles or so...

Errr that sounds like a normal cold start procedure to me anyway

You should always drive gently (i.e. less than 3k rpm) from cold for about 10-15 mins to let the oil warm up. Then go for it

Edited to add: Your ECU will probably have reset after a few hours without power anyway. But either way no further action is needed.
