Default Sticky thread request - Idle Problems / MAF / O2 etc

Ok,

I've mentioned this before, but every other thread seems to be about idle problems / emmissions etc, which all eminate from the poor quality of MAF's and 02 sensors on the Impreza (Ok, and ISCV / TPS etc )

Ive repeatedly reply to loads of threads on how to check an ISCV, where to buy a lambda / MAF, how to fit one etc, as do others who lurk on here all day

It must be worth writing a sticky thread, surely? It would save 25% of the traffic in here!

I'd voulenteer, but there's more knowledgable people out there than me.

There's your problem. Everyone wants a FAQ of some sort, but who's gonna right them. I can think of a few others, including some fitment guides that should save a lot of duplicate posts:-

Dawes Device
Knocklink
AFR
ECU types & re-mapping options
Different Turbo types
Tyre/Wheel Sizes
Strut brace fitments
Brake bleeding
Replacing brake discs & pads
Fitting ARB & drop links
Replacing downpipe, centre, backbox

Trouble is, I could write it, but i'd miss stuff and everyone would pick holes in it I really only know about the classic shape too, new age's dont seem to have enough miles to be causing problems yet

I might make a web page, so its not linked to SN, and no one can take the ****, then

BTW, Stephan, your website has some very useful stuff on it for KL / gauge fitting etc. I think therefore, you should add all this stuff to yours

Seems sensible

Webby - keeping quiet?

I agree with what you're saying in principle, but wtf are we going to do all day, if people are using FAQs to answer questions...? Work..?!
