Its not really a problem for a few weeks, i will just be running a bit rich probably.
On your model year, the sensor is in the headers. Look under the front bumper on the drivers side, and look for something about the length of a spark plug, sticking out the exhaust headers. Easy to change, as its threaded.
Ring www.brdevelopments.com for a new one. They range from £30 from Halfords, or a couple of hundred from Graham Goode

Thanks mark
£30 sounds like the one for me
Len at Subaru4u will sort me out (he's looked after this one for 2 years and is excellent)
He's fitting my knocklink at the same time

You will be lucky to get any other make to work. I had problem with mine on my93 wrx. Only one that would work was a scooby one part number 22690AA150 £107 +vat from main dealer. Was only fitted2 weeks ago for mot. Hope this help

Wouldn't have thought the lambda would induce the limp home mode? It isn't used on boost. Are you being limited on boost?

The O2 sensor on my 93wrx packed in, ive no idea how long for, i only found out when i put my AFR meter on and it wouldnt work.
I went to Halfords, got the Universal L300 one (i think thats the number), parted with the £25 and fitted it. Apart from having to make off the connector (because its diiferent), which took an extra 5 mins, i had it fitted in about 20 mins tops.. and works no worries.
I believe these dont last quite as long, but at £25 im prepared to take my chance.
