Hi

I've just imported a my99 wrx ra v limited. It starts, drives and stops fine.

However, if I accelerate briskly, and then come to a stop where the engine is idling, it will stall!

On other words, gentle driving is no problem ie no stalling problems, but after 'booting' it, it wont idle and i have to blipping the throttle to keep it running.

Any ideas much appreciated.

Does it have and after market dump valve on it?
Does it do it if you just rev the car at a standstill?

Check for air leaks on pipe work.

timing maybe..........i had the same and just raised the idle a little........problem solved..............i presume ur using optimax and octane booster(if not u should be)

Dyney, no dump valve. Dont think there are any air leaks, cannot hear anything hissing under the bonnet, surely it would try to stall all of the time not just after being driven fairly hard?

my94, i might try raising the timing a bit. I am using optimax but not octane booster, i will get some asap, and new plugs.
